The Japan Chapter of Columbia Venture Community (CVC) hosted a virtual session with Mitsuo Okada from Capy Inc. Mitsuo founded Capy, which offers online security solutions for websites via its CAPTCHA solution, in 2012, and the company raised Series A funding. His team in SF Bay Area is currently building an AI based Chief Security officer as 95% of security issues can be solved by AI. In this session, we touched on the following topics:

Mitsuo Okada | Founder&CEO, Capy Inc.

Mitsuo becomes an entrepreneur to change the complex and exclusive image of the cybersecurity industry. He founded Capy Inc. in Delaware in 2012 with the mission of "Security for All" to create a society where everyone can live safely and securely, and established the company in Japan in 2017 to expand its business there. He is now based in the US and involved in the development of new services. Mitsuo aims to bring together his global network, knowledge and experience to create disruptive innovations in cybersecurity and realize an internet society where everyone can live safely and securely. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kyoto University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Eastern Oregon University.
