Ayumi Ode

Bio

Ayumi is Director of Investor Relations at Allegis Capital, a Silicon Valley based early-stage venture capital firm investing in ambitious entrepreneurs at the crossroads of fintech, enterprise software, and climate tech. Over 20+ years, Allegis has established more than 10 funds mainly in the fields of general technology, cyber security and data science and manages $2+ billion of total assets under management over its entire platform. Previously, she served as Director of Japan at 500 Global (formerly 500 Startups), a venture capital firm and accelerator with over $2.7 billion in assets under management that invests early in founders building fast-growing technology companies. She was a Japan representative for 500 Global, forging and managing relationships with all the stakeholders such as governments, corporates, and more, to support 500's group strategy and execution and opportunity identification in Japan. She worked closely with 500’s diverse and globally distributed team members across 10+ different regions. Prior to joining 500 Global, she was a top executive at both an educational startup and a tech startup specialized in cloud services based in Tokyo Japan. Ayumi earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Columbia University Barnard College.
