Bio
Hajime has been an organizer for years as liaison and events for the Columbia community in Japan. He was awarded the Alumni Medal on 2010. He got his MBA from Columbia Business School on 1996. After working for Sumitomo Corporation in logistics, he joined in Starbucks Coffee Japan in 2000 as Division manager for business development, followed in 2010 as Director of Supply Chain Management for McDonald’s Japan. Also worked as a General Manager of consumer goods manufacturer in Japan. His current responsibility is to work for US Fintech firm to entering the market in Japan. He is spending a lot of time with his family. Family of 4, wife and 2 twin kids.
